My Story

I have worked in the F&B industry for over 30 years. In my previous role, in order to ensure that my team could begin to understand the frustrations that our customers with allergies may face on a daily basis; I challenged them to remove 1 allergen from their diet for 1 month. They found it difficult, they found it challenging and more importantly it led the team to review our menus and allergen management procedures to improve the experience for the customer.

I now run my own business providing support, training and audits for caterers to help them understand and manage allergens in a busy kitchen.

So you will have heard of The 3 Peaks Challenge ??

Working with Allergen Accreditation we developed this challenge further. We are asking you to climb the mountain of allergens.

The One McPeake Challenge is designed to provide an insight into the daily frustrations of an allergy sufferer. Checking labels, cooking food, eating out, taking packed lunch, attending events.

We are asking you to remove 1 allergen from your diet for just 2 weeks. We would like to rasie funds for Natasha's Allergy Research Fund as their mission is very important to us.

The Challenge runs from Friday 3rd September until Friday 17th September 2021
